Terms of Use
Effective 13 July 2026. PicExplainer is provided by Uptrail ("we"). By using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement.
The service
PicExplainer uses artificial intelligence to describe and answer questions about images. AI output can be wrong. The app indicates its confidence and flags what it cannot read, but you must verify important information independently. PicExplainer is a study aid, not a substitute for accessible course materials, qualified teaching, or safety-critical judgement.
Subscriptions
PicExplainer Pro is an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription billed through your Apple Account. Apple displays the exact local price, period, renewal date, and any introductory offer for which you are eligible before confirmation. Live analysis and questions are subject to the allowance, fair-use, and service-capacity limits shown in the installed app. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage it in iOS Settings under Apple Account, Subscriptions, PicExplainer. Seat-limited school licences are sold separately by invoice.
Acceptable use
Do not use PicExplainer to violate others' privacy or intellectual-property rights, to cheat in assessments where aids are prohibited, or to attempt to disrupt the service.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
