PicExplainer creates a spoken, conversational explanation from a textbook photo, chart, or diagram. Photograph the page, hear a structured overview, then ask questions such as: "What does the arrow on the left point to?" or "Read me the values on this chart." AI output can be wrong, so important details still need checking.
Designed VoiceOver-first. Eyes-free camera guidance, touchable diagram maps with haptic feedback, and audio graphs for supported charts. The AI is instructed to flag uncertainty rather than guess, but it can still make mistakes. Successful analyses can be saved on this device so study sessions build on each other.

Why it exists
Diagrams can be a major access barrier for blind and low-vision students. PicExplainer was built for one job: helping a student explore figures from their own textbook in class while keeping a saved, on-device study library.
For schools and disability services
Seat-limited school licences with activation codes are available by invoice or purchase order. Contact us for current pricing and included devices. No per-student account, name, email, or student record is required. Submitted content is processed off-device and linked to a pseudonymous device identifier for entitlements and service limits; it is not used for cross-app tracking. Email hello@uptrail.ai.
